Having served Buncombe County for nearly four decades, including three terms (12 years) as your elected sheriff, Van is highly qualified to address the urgent needs of our community. His focus will be on improving public safety, reducing crime, bringing transparency and common sense to the budget process, and eliminating homelessness.
